In the Vendee Globe round-the-world race, British skipper Alex Thomson has steadily worked his way up from the middle of the pack to fifth place as the fleet nears the treacherous south Atlantic. We caught up with him prior to his race to find out what he is expecting on his third Vendee Globe.
